The Gmina Strzelce Opolskie (German municipality Groß Strehlitz ) is an urban-and-rural municipality in the Opole Voivodeship in the powiat Strzelce Opolskie . The community has about 33,000 inhabitants, its seat is the city ​​of the same name with over 18,000 inhabitants.
