Golden Sugar Loaf

The Golden Sugar Loaf is an award for exemplary performance in the food industry. It is awarded once a year by the Lebensmittel Zeitung . In autumn 1958, the first prize winner was honored at the IKOFA in Munich. In addition, the Golden Sugar Loaf Foundation has existed since 1990 , which is intended for young professionals from the consumer goods industry and the trade with excellent services.

The award is considered to be one of the most important in its industry.

The board of trustees and the board of trustees consists of representatives from the companies Kaufland , Beiersdorf , Henkell & Söhnlein , Haribo , the Edeka group, de Beukelaer , the Lebensmittel Zeitung and the German specialist publisher .
