The Hohenkrähen area is a nature reserve designated by ordinance of June 24, 1983 (NSG number 3.127) in the Baden-Württemberg district of Konstanz in Germany .

location

The 12.4 hectares large nature reserve Hohenkrähen is one natural area to Hegau . It is located in the Duchtlingen district , around 4.7 kilometers northeast of the center of Hilzingen , at an altitude of up to 644 m above sea level. NHN .

Protection purpose

The main protection purpose is "the preservation of the high crow as a unique geological document, which, in its peculiarity and beauty, is of particular importance for the volcanic landscape of the Hegau as well as habitat for a large number of rare and endangered plant species and plant communities."
