The women's 4 x 100 meter relay at the European Athletics Championships in 1962 was held on September 15 and 16, 1962 in Belgrade's Partizan Stadium .
Poland became European champions with Teresa Ciepły , Barbara Sobotta , Elżbieta Szyroka and Maria Piątkowska . The BR Germany relay won the silver medal for the all-German team with the cast of Erika Fisch , Martha Pensberger , Maren Collin and Jutta Heine . Bronze went to Great Britain ( Ann Packer , Dorothy Hyman , Daphne Arden , Mary Rand ).
