List of European swimming records over 1500 meters freestyle

The European swimming records for 1500 m freestyle are the best times swimmed by Europeans in the 1500 m freestyle swimming discipline . They are recognized by the European swimming federation LEN . European records are held separately for long courses (50 m) and short courses (25 m) and separately for men and women. The following shows the development of the European record since the first recognized European record.
