List of WWE Title Holders

WWE is an American wrestling - Promotion . The professional wrestlers fight for titles in the shows Raw , SmackDown , NXT and NXT UK . The world heavyweight titles are the most important championships given to male wrestlers. The midcard titles serve as secondary championships . Tag team titles exist for tag teams and female wrestlers receive the women's title as the highest championship. The cruiserweight title is awarded to wrestlers who do not exceed a weight limit of 93  kg (205  lbs ) . As is common in wrestling, the award is based on a previously determined storyline .
