List of diplomatic missions in Turkey
This is a list of diplomatic and consular representations in Turkey . Currently (as of September 2013) 121 countries around the world maintain embassies to the Turkish government in Ankara . Another 37 countries are sending accredited ambassadors from abroad.
Among other things, Turkey does not have diplomatic relations with Armenia and the Republic of Cyprus .

Until 1922 , Istanbul (until 1930 officially: Constantinople ) was the seat of all embassies in the Ottoman Empire . Today, as the largest city as well as the most important cultural and economic center in Turkey, the metropolis on the Bosporus is the seat of (besides Ankara) by far the largest number of consular representations in Turkey. Many of today's consulates general are housed in the respective former embassy buildings.
