Embassy building

It is a house built in 1923 for the Jewish textile manufacturer Eugen Goldstein according to plans by Curt Leschnitzer . After Goldstein was expropriated during the Nazi era , it served as the headquarters of the Deutsche Eisenhandels- AG . After 1945, among other things, Hertha BSC became the owner and other clubs used the premises. Since 2008 the villa has been owned by the state of Namibia , which set up its embassy here. The almost square building with two floors offers a usable area of around 270  square meters without an attic. It is designed in the style of neoclassicism and is characterized by its monumental entrance area with a large flight of stairs .
