Countries with a diplomatic mission in Russia
This is a list of diplomatic and consular representations in Russia . More than 140 countries in the world maintain an embassy in the Russian Federation .
Besides the Republic of China (Taiwan) , Russia has no diplomatic relations with Georgia ; As a result of the Caucasus War of August 2008 , the two neighboring countries broke off their relations with one another on August 28, 2008. Since then, both countries have been represented by the Swiss embassy in the respective host country.
