- 1850: Immanuel Gottlieb Kolb (1784-1859), Pietist, schoolmaster in Dagersheim
- 1874: Otto Elben (1823–1899), because of the enforcement of the Gäubahn route through Böblingen; Politician, journalist, publisher Schwäbischer Merkur, founder of the Swabian Singers' Association
- 1913: Lyon Sussmann (1843–1935), entrepreneur (Hautana), benefactor of the city, donated z. B. the first municipal kindergarten on Lange Straße.
- 1933: Adolf Hitler , Hermann Göring and Max Luib (the three honorary citizenships were revoked in 1946)
- 1933: Wilhelm Murr (1888–1945), President of Württemberg and Reich Governor (honorary citizenship was officially revoked in 2011)
- 1955: Hanns Klemm (1885–1961), founder of the Klemm light aircraft works in Böblingen, pioneer of German sports aviation
- 1963: Adolf Reisser (1897–1977), received honorary citizenship on the occasion of his 50th anniversary with the company, an exemplary entrepreneur for the rebuilding of the economy after the war
