Mill en Sint Hubert ( listen ^{? / I} ) ( German Mill and Sankt Hubert ) is a municipality in the Dutch province of Noord-Brabant . The municipality has 10,891 inhabitants (as of January 31, 2019) and has an area of ​​53.17 km² .  

It consists of the districts Langenboom, Mill, Sint Hubert and Wilbertoord.

history

The two places Mill and Sint Hubert were already connected before 1326, when they still belonged together with Wanroy to the area of Cuijk and the church district of Boxmeer . From 1326 the three villages then formed the independent parish of Mill.

During the Napoleonic period , the places were added to the Netherlands in 1810 and both places formed the municipality of Mill en Sint Hubert . Mill was and still is the capital. Towards the end of the 19th century , the Wilbertoord colony, formed by peat cutters , had developed into a village and became Mill en Sint Hubert. In 1942, Langenboom followed as part of a reorganization of the municipalities.

In the last local election in 2018, the Christian Democrats of the CDA were able to prevail over the local voter groups VierKernenPartij and Algemeen Belang '90 and received almost half of the votes. In the 2018–2022 legislative period the coalition consists of the local parties VierKernenPartij and Algemeen Belang '90 .
