Landerd ( municipality in the Dutch province of Noord-Brabant . The municipality belongs to the urban region of Uden - Veghel . It was created on January 1, 1994 from the previous municipalities of Schaijk and Zeeland , where the municipal administration is also located.

politics
The local party Maashorst Vooruit was able to prevail in what is likely to be the last local election in the history of the municipality, thus defending its election victory in 2014. In the 2018–2022 legislative period, it forms a coalition with Progressief Landerd , the Reekse Politieke Partij and the VVD .

On November 8, 2018, the Landerd and Uden municipal councils voted in favor of a municipal merger on January 1, 2022. The two municipalities are to form the new municipality of Maashorst from now on.
