After the German occupation of the Netherlands in World War II, the company came under external management. The factory was sold to Hagemeyer NV in 1966 and, after another takeover in 1974, was renamed Verenigde Koninklijke Lederfabriek te Oisterwijk NV The company existed until 1996.
