NGC 419 is a globular cluster in the Small Magellanic Cloud in the constellation Toucan . The star cluster, which was added to NGC around 1885 , has a diameter of 2.4 'and an apparent magnitude of 11 mag. The age of the cluster is estimated to be 1.2 billion years.
NGC 419 was discovered by the Scottish astronomer James Dunlop on September 2, 1826 .
