NGC 435 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Scd in the constellation Cetus south of the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 461 million light years from the Milky Way and about 150,000 light years across.
In the same area of ​​the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 445 , IC 83 , IC 84 .

The object was discovered on October 23, 1864 by the German astronomer Albert Marth .
