NGC 4467 is an elliptical dwarf galaxy of the Hubble type E2 in the constellation Virgo on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 61 million light years from the Milky Way and about 5,000 light years across. She is listed as a member of the Virgo galaxy cluster under catalog number VCC 1192 .
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 4464 , NGC 4465 , NGC 4470 , NGC 4472 .
The object was discovered on April 28, 1851 by Otto Wilhelm von Struve .
