NGC 4475 is a barred spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBbc in the constellation Coma Berenices in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 330 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 165,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies IC 3394 , IC 3406 , IC 3454 , IC 3460 .
The object was discovered by Wilhelm Herschel on April 11, 1785 .
