NGC 4481 is a spiral galaxy with an active nucleus of the Hubble type Sab in the constellation Dragon in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 108 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 20,000 ly.
In the same area of ​​the sky are the galaxies NGC 4441 , NGC 4510 , NGC 4512 , among others .

The object was discovered by Heinrich Louis d'Arrest on October 7, 1866 .
