Area description and protection purpose

The entire NSG consists of a small hay meadow. It was designated to protect the grassland. As with all nature reserves in Germany, the protection designation indicated that the area was declared a protected area “because of the rarity, special character and beauty of the area”. The main reason for protection is the maintenance and restoration of the biotope types and the protection of flora and fauna in the area.
