The 1987/88 OHL season was the 8th season of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). The Windsor Compuware Spitfires won the Hamilton Spectator Trophy as the best point team of the regular season and also secured their first J. Ross Robertson Cup in the subsequent playoff final against the Peterborough Petes .
