The women's slalom in alpine skiing at the 2018 Olympic Winter Games was originally scheduled to take place on February 14, 2018 at 10:15 a.m. local time (2:15 a.m. CET ) in the Yongpyong Alpine Center . However, strong gusts of wind caused the race to be postponed, initially by an hour, but when the wind did not decrease, then on February 16, 2018 at 10:15 a.m. local time (2:15 a.m. CET ).
The gold medal was won by Frida Hansdotter from Sweden. Silver went to Wendy Holdener from Switzerland and Katharina Gallhuber from Austria received the bronze medal .
