history

To 1807 Black Paul belonged to the court Hemer in office Iserlohn , then it was in the extensive municipal restructuring during the French occupation of the Mairie Hemer in Canton Iserlohn of Arrondissement Hagen of the departments Ruhr assigned.

From 1814 Schwarzpaul belonged to the rural community Evingsen (part of the tax community Evingsen) within the Hemer mayor of the Iserlohn district . According to the location and distance table of the government district of Arnsberg in 1838 , the place called colonies had two houses and two agricultural buildings at that time. At that time, 13 residents lived in the village, four of whom were Protestant and nine were Catholic.

On the Prussian first recording from 1839, the place is recorded as Am Schwarz Paul . The community encyclopedia for the province of Westphalia from 1887 gives a number of ten residents who lived in a residential building. At that time the place still belonged to the rural community Evingsen in the Iserlohn district.
