history

The place was probably founded in the 12th century. In 1802 there were five households in Seebronn, all of which were subject to Ansbach.

As part of the municipal edict, Seebronn was assigned to the Rauenzell tax district, which was formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community Rauenzell , which was founded a little later . With the second community edict (1818) Seebronn was re-ceded to Hohenberg . In 1821/22 the district court of Ansbach made efforts to incorporate the places Claffheim , Hohe Fichte , Seebronn and Winterschneidbach , which were subordinate to the Herriedener district court , but this failed due to the lack of interest of the affected places.

On July 1, 1971, Seebronn was incorporated into Herrieden as part of the regional reform .
