The tour of the Zimbabwean national cricket team to New Zealand in the 1997/98 season took place from February 4 to 28, 1998. The international cricket tour was part of the 1997/98 international cricket season and included two tests and five ODIs . New Zealand won the Test Series 2-0 and the ODI Series 4-1.

New Zealand previously played a three-nation tournament in Australia , and Zimbabwe a tour in Sri Lanka . The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in Zimbabwe in the same season .
