Thomas Kopache

Thomas Kopache (born October 17, 1945 in Manchester ) is an American actor.

Life

Thomas Kopache, who was already a renowned theater actor at the time, had his first film appearances in 1983. He soon developed into a sought-after actor in supporting roles in films and series.

He has appeared in films such as Leaving Las Vegas , Catch Me If You Can by Steven Spielberg and No Country for Old Men by Ethan and Joel Coen . He had appearances in four Mike Figgis films , besides Leaving Las Vegas these were Death Dreams - The Last Witness is Silent , Mr. Jones and One Night Stand .

But mainly he was active in television series. In the very successful in the US series The West Wing - The West Wing , he played in 14 episodes Assistant Secretary of State Bob Slattery (seasons 3 to 7) He was also in all the Star Trek series in the 1990s and 2000s and in the movie Star Trek: Meet the Generations to See. He had seven different roles, but only that of Kira Taban, Kira Nerys ' father , appears in two episodes.
