The Salacgrīva District (Salacgrīvas novads) is located in Latvia .

The district was created in 2009 from the cities of Salacgrīva and Ainaži and the three rural communities (pagasts) Ainaži, Liepupe and Salacgrīva.

The district is located in the north of the country along the Riga Bay to the Estonian border.
