The District Inčukalns (Inčukalna novads) is located in the center of Latvia in the historic landscape Vidzeme .

The area is located northeast of Riga on the Pleskauer Chaussee . The Gauja runs here .
population
8,276 inhabitants (as of July 1, 2014) live in the entire Inčukalns district. The district consists of the two municipalities (pagasts) Vangaži with 3839 inhabitants and Inčukalns with 4437 inhabitants. The town of Inčukalns is the administrative center of the district.
