Charles R. Cutler

Charles R. Cutler was an American politician . In 1872 and 1873 he was Lieutenant Governor of the State of Rhode Island .

The sources on Charles Cutler are very poor. His life data have not been passed down. What is certain is that he lived in Warren at least for a time . Professionally, he was the captain of a ship that was used in whaling. He also ran a clothing factory. In 1872 he was elected lieutenant governor of Rhode Island at the side of Seth Padelford . He held this office between 1872 and 1873. He was Deputy Governor and Chairman of the State Senate . His party affiliation is not given in the sources. After his time as Lieutenant Governor, his track is lost again.
