David Neville
David Neville (born June 1, 1984 in Merrillville , Indiana ) is an American 400-meter runner.
Neville became US indoor champion in 2008. At the World Indoor Championships in Valencia in 2008 , he reached the semi-finals. In the outdoor season he set a new personal best at the Olympic eliminations in Eugene with 44.61 seconds and qualified third for the Olympic Games.
At the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, he won the bronze medal with a time of 44.80 seconds. With the 4 x 400-meter relay in the cast LaShawn Merritt , Neville, Angelo Taylor and Jeremy Wariner he put in 2: 55.39 minutes a new Olympic record and won the gold medal.
At a height of 1.93 m, his competition weight is 74 kg.
