Kevin Robinzine

Kevin Bernard Robinzine (born April 12, 1966 in Fort Worth , USA ) is a former American athlete and Olympic champion.

In 1987 Robinzine won the US 4-by-400-meter relay at the Pan American Games . In the same year he also won the relay at the Universiade .

At the XXIV Olympic Games in Seoul in 1988 he won the team gold medal in the 4 x 400 meter relay race, together with his teammates Danny Everett , Steve Lewis and Butch Reynolds , in front of the teams from Jamaica and Germany . The team equalized the world and Olympic record from 1968 with 2: 56.16 min.

His personal best in the 400-meter run made Robinzine in the preliminary rounds for the 1988 Olympic Games when he was fourth in Indianapolis in 44.61 s. With a height of 1.78 m, his competition weight was 64 kg.
