history

The billiard amateur association Westphalia, as the local organizer, had organized the three cushion championship in the Gelsenkirchen sports center Schürenkamp.

This magical limit was exceeded by the second Günter Siebert . The Essen player played the best GD of the tournament with 1.027 . For the first time, the tournament was played entirely in a double knockout system.

mode

The number of participants was increased to 16 players. The game was played in a double knockout system. The entire tournament was played with a push . The final placement was based on the following criteria:

  1. Match points
  2. General average (GD)
  3. Maximum series (HS)
