history

The local organizer and host on behalf of the German Billiards Association (DBB) was Ravensburger BC . The tournament was played in the Konzerthaus in Ravensburg.

Günter Siebert defended his title in Ravensburg and was German three-cushion champion for the sixth time. With 1.144 he also achieved a very good general average (GD). Norbert Weingärtner from Gelsenkirchen also played a good tournament and won his first medal at a DM. The third placed cadre specialist Thomas Wildförster also won his first three-cushion medal.

The results in the German Billard-Zeitung, now called Billard-Sport, were very incomplete.
