The German three-cushion championship 1952 (DDM) was the 20th edition of this tournament series and took place from April 3rd to 5th in Cologne , North Rhine-Westphalia .

history

August Tiedtke won his eleventh overall title and the seventh in a row. Last year's third-placed, Ernst Rudolph , was runner-up in front of a home crowd. Tiedge's younger brother Gert , actually at home in the art thrust, only came in sixth. Siegfried Spielmann was unable to continue his previous year's performance after a long illness, although he won his game against Rudolph and was only fifth.
