The German Three Cushion Championship 1950 (DDM) was the 18th edition of this tournament series and took place from June 2nd to 6th in Duisburg , North Rhine-Westphalia .

history

August Tiedtke won his ninth title and the fifth in a row in front of a home crowd, more than anyone before him. Only Christian Rudolph will manage this in 2001. Without losing a match, Tiedtke again achieved all three tournament best performances, but he had to share the best series (HS) with the winless last-placed Karl Hecker, who played his only DDM. As in the previous year, Siegfried Spielmann was runner-up. Kurt Hartkopf won the bronze medal. The final occupancy of the first four places was exactly the same as last year, Peter Schuh completed this quartet. This incident did not occur again afterwards. (As of August 2013)

mode

It played "everyone against everyone" ( round-robin mode ) to 50 points with a push .
