Dvorianky (until 1927 Slovak "Dvorianka"; Hungarian Szécsudvar - until 1907 Techna or older Tehna ) is a municipality in the east of Slovakia with 664 inhabitants (December 31, 2019), which for Okres Trebišov of, a circle kraj Košický heard. It is part of the traditional Zemplín landscape .
geography
The municipality is located in the north-western part of the East Slovak Lowlands, west of the confluence of the Topľa and Ondava rivers . The center of the village is at an altitude of 111 m nm and is eight kilometers from Sečovce and 12 kilometers from Trebišov .
Neighboring communities are Parchovany in the west and north, Tušice in the east, Tušická Nová Ves in the southeast and Vojčice , Hriadky and Sečovce in the south.
history
Dvorianky was first mentioned in 1314 as Vdwarniky , according to other sources as early as 1245 in a document from Béla IV . In the Middle Ages, the village belonged to the domain of the Purustyán Castle. In 1355 there were two settlements - Kistechna (small) and Nagytechna (large). Over the centuries the village was owned by various noble families. In 1715 there were four abandoned and four inhabited households, in 1787 the village had 55 houses and 435 inhabitants, in 1828 there were 56 houses and 433 inhabitants who were employed as farmers, horse breeders and weavers. In the 19th century, the Andrássy family owned local estates . The inhabitants took part in the Eastern Slovak Peasant Uprising in 1831 .
Until 1918/1919, the place in Semplin County belonged to the Kingdom of Hungary and then came to Czechoslovakia or now Slovakia.

According to the 2011 census, Dvorianky had 591 residents, 558 of whom were Slovaks and one Roman and one Czech . 31 residents gave no information on ethnicity .
272 residents professed their support for the Greek Catholic Church, 242 residents for the Roman Catholic Church, 12 residents for the Reformed Church, six residents for the Jehovah's Witnesses and two residents for the Evangelical Church AB 16 residents were non-denominational and 41 residents had no denomination .

traffic
Through Dvorianky you pass 1st order street 79 . There is a stop west of the village on the Trebišov – Vranov nad Topľou railway line , but since 2003 there has been no regular passenger traffic.
