Earthshaker Fest
The Earthshaker Fest , abbreviated ESF, was a 2003 to 2007 existing Metal - Festival in Franconia .
The first ESF took place one day in 2003 in Hirschaid . The following day the 15th anniversary celebration of the Franconian cover and thrash metal band Justice took place at the same location . Due to the success it was continued. In the following years the organizer moved it to Geiselwind .
In order to improve the general conditions for the audience, the festival moved to new grounds in 2006. From July 20th to 22nd, 2006 it took place in Kreuth ( Rieden (Upper Palatinate) ) near Amberg in Bavaria .
In 2007 the festival , which was actually planned as an open air, was moved to the Ostbayernhalle in advance .
The festival was discontinued in 2008 due to terrain problems.
