At the European Games 2019 in Minsk , Belarus , five table tennis competitions were held from June 22 to 29, 2019 , one team competition (with 12 teams) and one individual competition for men and women as well as one for mixed doubles . The top three winners of the individual competitions and the winners of the team and mixed competitions qualified directly for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo .
In addition to host Belarus, the eleven best teams according to the world rankings of December 2018 qualified for the team competitions , the placement took place in June.
In the individual, a maximum of two players per association was allowed to compete. A maximum of 52 players per gender qualified: the eight best placed at the last European Championship , the best placed unqualified player according to the world rankings of March 2019, two players from each of the twelve associations qualified for the team competition, one player from each of the 16 qualified mixed doubles and three “universality places”. : P.3–4
