Eva Loebau
Eva Löbau (born April 26, 1972 in Waiblingen ) is an Austrian actress .
Life
Löbau grew up as the daughter of Austrian parents in the Swabian town of Plochingen . After graduating from high school, Löbau began studying philosophy at the Humboldt University in Berlin in the early 1990s , which she broke off in 1993 to study at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna.
After her diploma and her first engagement at the Stadttheater, she made her screen debut in 1999 in collaboration with director Iain Dilthey in the short film Sommer auf Horlachen , which was successfully shown at the Hof Film Festival . That same year they turned I'll carry you on my hands . For the main role of the young, single mother Ramona, she was awarded Best Actress at the Festival Internacional de Cine de Gijón .
She continued her acting career in Maren Ade's film The Forest for the Trees (2003). In it she plays the role of the young teacher Melanie Pröschle, who tries in vain to join the new teaching staff. She took language lessons for the Swabian dialect, which she had only heard but not spoken in her youth. In Buenos Aires she received the Film Award and the New Port Award for Best Actress .
In addition to working with director Iain Dilthey on three other productions, a. a. Films with the directors Hartmut Griesmayr , Hans-Christian Schmid , Detlev Buck , Franziska Buch , Max Färberböck , Sonja Heiss , Pia Marais and Jaume Collet-Serra .
Eva Löbau continues to work on stage, u. a. with Nicolas Stemann , Sebastian Nübling , Ricarda Beilharz , Angela Richter and Patrick Wengenroth . Since 2000 she has been part of the Munich performance group Die Bairishe Geisha , which u. a. in the performance Have You Ever Heard Of Wilhelm Reich? Contributed by Andreas Ammer and Console . In 2015 she stood next to u. a. Annette Frier , Ursula Karusseit and Felix von Manteuffel in the Theater am Kurfürstendamm for a family - August: Osage County on stage. The original stage work by Tracy Letts .
As part of the television series Familie Bundschuh , Löbau has been seen as Rose Schultze since 2015, alongside Stephan Grossmann , who plays her film husband Hadi, in one of the main roles in the film adaptations of Andrea Sawatzki's novels about Gundula and Gerald Bundschuh.
Since 2017 she can be seen as commissioner Franziska Tobler in the new Black Forest crime scene of the SWR next to Hans-Jochen Wagner . At the 14th achtung berlin - new berlin film award in April 2018, she received the award as best actress for her leading role in the feature film Reise nach Jerusalem , which was also awarded as best feature film.
Eva Löbau was a permanent member of the Münchner Kammerspiele ensemble in the 2018/19 and 2019/20 seasons .
