The 1995/96 FA Cup was the 115th staging of the world's oldest soccer cup tournament; The Football Association Challenge Cup , or FA Cup for short . The cup competition ended with the final at Wembley Stadium on May 11, 1996. The winner of this event was Manchester United .

The FA Cup is played in rounds. Any team that has a certain level of performance and an appropriate playing field can take part. The game is played i. d. Usually only with a first leg. In the event of a tie, there will be a second leg. If the second leg also ends in a draw, the game goes into extra time or penalty shoot-out. Each winner receives a bonus from the television money, which is staggered according to the round.
Main round
First main round
The games were played between November 11 and 22, 1995. The replay took place on November 21 and 22, 1995.
Second main round
The games were played on December 2 and 3, 1995. The replays followed from December 12th to 14th of that year.
Third main round
The games were played on January 6th and 7th, 1996. Necessary replay games have been scheduled for January 16-23.
Fourth main round
The games took place from January 27 to February 18, 1996. The required repetitions were played from February 7th to 14th.
