The Farewell Islands are an Australian archipelago to the west of the Torres Strait Islands archipelago . They are located about 6 km northwest of Badu Island .
The group consists of two very small, flat rock islands, which are surrounded by a coral reef of around 1.4 km² ; the islands are uninhabited.
