French Rugby Union Championship 1954/55
The 1954/55 season was the 56th edition of the French Rugby Union Championship. It comprised 48 teams in the top division (today's top 14 ).
The championship was divided into two phases. It began with the group stage, in which eight teams played against each other in six groups. The five best in each group and the two best sixth-placed made it into the knockout round. Sixteenth, eighth, quarter and semi-finals followed. In the final, which took place on May 22, 1955 in Parc Lescure in Bordeaux , the two semi-final winners met and played for the Bouclier de Brennus . The USA Perpignan prevailed against FC Lourdes and won the championship title for the sixth time.
