Kurt-Gero von Boehm-Bezing (born April 20, 1954 in Hanover ) is a German director , journalist and television producer .

biography

Boehm grew up in Heidelberg and studied law and social sciences at Heidelberg University and in New York . At the age of 20 he already wrote articles for the weekly newspaper Die Zeit and for other publications. Later he worked for the radio of WDR , SWF and Deutschlandfunk . He made his first documentary for television in 1975. In 1978 Boehm founded the production company interscience film with his wife Christiane, who is responsible for finances, production and administration.

In addition to his television productions, Boehm interviewed well-known personalities from 1980 to 1990 in the Wortwechsel series on Südwestrundfunk . From 2002 to 2010 he produced the interview series Gero von Boehm meets ... on 3sat . In 2011 he founded the production company LUPA Film for the development and production of fictional material for television and cinema.

He has three children and lives in Berlin and France .
