Heather Richardson-Bergsma (born March 20, 1989 in High Point , North Carolina ( USA )) is an American speed skater and former inline speed skater .

Career

Bergsma began her career as an inline speed skater . Between 2004 and 2006 she won five world titles at the junior world championships . In 2007 she was able to win another two world championship titles with the relay in Cali, Colombia .

In 2006 Bergsma successfully made the switch from inline speed skating to speed skating .
