The Honda Inspire or ( Honda Saber , Honda Vigor , Acura TL , Honda Accord ) is a mid- range car from Honda offered exclusively in Japan .
The Inspire was created in 1989. At that time, Honda had introduced the Acura Vigor in the USA, using a model name Honda Vigor that was already in use in Japan . This model has now been sold in Japan as the Inspire.
With the renaming of the Vigor to Acura TL , the Inspire was based on it from 1995 to 1998. From the third generation onwards, the Inspire corresponds to the US Honda Accord , while the smaller European version is sold under this name in Japan.
Fifth generation UC1 (2003-2007)
In 2003, it was the first Honda vehicle to introduce radar-based adaptive cruise control (Intelligent Highway Cruise Control IHCC) and the world's first emergency braking assistant (CMS) with autonomous emergency braking.
