The Honda Avancier is an SUV from the Japanese automaker Honda that is positioned above the CR-V .

history

The vehicle debuted as a Concept D study at the Shanghai Auto Show 2015, and Honda showed a near-series version at the Beijing Auto Show in April 2016. The series version was shown at the Chengdu Auto Show 2016 and has been in China since October 31, 2016 Dealers.

On March 20, 2017, the almost identical Honda UR-V came onto the market in China . This differs from the Avancier only in the grill, the bonnet, the bumpers and the taillights. Since Honda has two joint ventures on the Chinese market , the UR-V built by Dongfeng Honda Automobile is offered in addition to the Avancier produced by Guangqi Honda Automobile .

Between 1999 and 2003 Honda offered a vehicle under the name Avancier in Japan.

Technical specifications

At the market launch, the Avancier was available with a 200 kW (272 hp) turbocharged 2.0-liter gasoline engine and a 9- speed automatic transmission from ZF . The vehicle has front-wheel drive as standard, and all-wheel drive can be optionally fitted. In March 2017, a weaker, supercharged 1.5-liter gasoline engine followed.
