The Honda Amaze is a sedan made by the Japanese car manufacturer Honda .

The first generation of the Amaze was built in April 2013 based on the Honda Brio in Greater Noida , India . It was sold in Southeast Asia, with the Indian version being 9.5 centimeters shorter, as vehicles with a length of less than four meters are taxed less in India. In March 2016, the sedan received a makeover.

The car was powered by a 1.2-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine or a 1.5-liter four-cylinder diesel engine . The latter was only available in the Indian market. There the Amaze was available in six trim levels.

Honda presented the second generation of the Amaze at the Auto Expo in February 2018. It has been on sale in India since May 16, 2018. In May 2018, the sedan became the best-selling Honda vehicle in India. In addition, with 9,759 units, Honda sold more models than ever before in a month. The Amaze is again available in six equipment variants.
