The Honda S660 is a two-seater roadster from the Japanese car manufacturer Honda , which is only sold in the Japanese home market. Due to the displacement of 658 cm³, the length of less than 3.40 meters, the width of less than 1.48 meters and the output of 47 kW (64 PS), the S660 is one of the kei cars , which means that in Japan the motor vehicle tax and the proof of parking space is not required.

history

A first glimpse of the car was Honda at the Tokyo Motor Show in November 2013, the concept car S660 Concept . Sales of the production version started in Japan in April 2015 with a special model limited to 660 vehicles. The roadster is built in Yokkaichi , but is not available outside of Japan.

Honda built the last roadster in kei car format between 1991 and 1996 with the Beat .

The Honda S660 is equipped with a 658 cm³ three-cylinder gasoline engine which, with a turbocharger, generates 47 kW (64 hp). The engine is located in front of the rear axle and its power is transmitted to the rear axle.
