Jeremy Rashaad Lane (* 14. July 1990 ) is an American American football poker players. He most recently played as cornerback for the Seattle Seahawks in the National Football League (NFL).

On April 28, 2012, Lane was selected in the NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks as the 172nd player in the sixth round. He signed the contract on May 7, 2012. In the 2013 season , Lane won Super Bowl XLVII with the Seahawks .

In the first game of the 2014 season, Lane suffered a groin injury, which is why he was put on the Injured Reserve List . In Super Bowl XLIX Lane then made his first interception , but broke off the resulting return the arm. Due to this injury, he missed the first ten games of the 2015 season but was able to return in week 12, where he caught an interception early in the second quarter and carried it back for 54 yards .

After the 2015 season, Lane signed a new four-year contract with the Seahawks. He caused a stir in the last preseason game of the 2016 season when he joined Colin Kaepernick's protest and sat at the national anthem instead of standing .

After Lane lost his starting position to a rookie in the 2017 season , he was swapped for Tackle Duane Brown for the Houston Texans on October 31, 2017, along with a few draft picks . But Lane didn't pass the medical check and was no longer part of the swap. Instead, the draft law in the 2018 draft, which the Seahawks handed over to the Texans, was changed from the fifth to the third round. On March 9, 2018, Lane was released by the Seahawks.
