Kenneth Bernard Wright, Jr. (* 23. July 1989 in Memphis , Tennessee ) is an American American football poker players on the position of Outside linebackers . He has played for the Seattle Seahawks in the National Football League (NFL) since 2011 . In the 2011 NFL Draft , he was selected by the Seahawks as the 99th player. After the 2013 season , he won Super Bowl XLVIII with the Seahawks .

NFL

After signing, Wright was Aaron Curry's substitute for two games . After he dropped an interception, however, Wright got the starter position. In the 2012 through 2014 seasons, Wright played 44 of 48 games. In 2013 and 2014 he reached the Super Bowl twice with his team , but could only win the first.

In 2014, the Seahawks signed Wright for four years at a total salary of $ 27 million , making him the second highest paid linebacker in the NFL. In 2016 he set career records in tackles (126), sacks (4.0) and tackles for loss (12). He was also elected to the Pro Bowl for the first time . In 2017 , he scored 108 tackles and caught an interception. However, for the first time in his career he failed to score a sack all season. In 2018 he only played five games due to a knee injury. In March 2019, the Seahawks signed him on a two-year contract worth $ 15.5 million.
