Clifford Samuel "Cliff" Avril (* 8. April 1986 in Jacksonville , Florida ) is a former American American football poker players. He played on the defensive end position for the Seattle Seahawks and Detroit Lions in the National Football League (NFL).

Avril was drafted in the 2008 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions as the 92nd player in the third round, with which he signed a three-year contract. On May 4, 2018, Avril was discharged after a failed medical exam. He then ended his career.
